QUICK ANSWERS

PDF Toolkit FAQs

Details about the current PDF tools, browser processing and limits.

Which PDF tasks are available?

This toolkit can convert JPG, PNG and WebP images to PDF; merge PDFs; split or extract pages; convert PDF pages to JPG or PNG; rotate, reorder or delete pages; compress PDFs; scan document photos; add page numbers; and add headers or footers.

Are files processed in my browser?

Yes. The current PDF workflows process the files in your browser. The tools may load PDF rendering support from a public CDN, but the selected files are not sent to a GenImager server by these workflows.

What file limits apply?

PDF inputs are limited to 50 MB. PDF page conversion and rotate/reorder support up to 300 pages, PDF Merge accepts up to 30 files, and JPG/PNG to PDF accepts up to 100 images. Some workflows have additional limits shown in the tool.

Do I need an account to use these PDF tools?

You can prepare a result in the browser, but Google sign-in is required when you download it. The tool shows the sign-in step after your result is ready.
