QUICK ANSWERS

Festival poster maker FAQs

Answers about festivals, sizes, languages, logos and downloads.

01How do I make a festival poster online?

Choose a festival, pick a size (Post 4:5, Square 1:1 or Story 9:16), type your greeting and message, add your name or business under From, and optionally upload a logo. Check the live preview, then choose Download PNG.

02Which festivals can I make posters for?

The poster maker has 485 festival designs across Indian and world festivals: Hindu, Sikh, Islamic, Christian, Buddhist, Jain, Jewish, Chinese, Korean, Japanese and Persian celebrations, harvest and new-year festivals, and national and global days. Examples are Diwali, Holi, Navratri, Durga Puja, Eid, Pongal, Onam, Baisakhi, Christmas, Chinese New Year, Mid-Autumn Festival, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Valentine’s Day, Hanukkah, Nowruz, Day of the Dead, Carnival, Songkran, Vesak, Purim and national days from Bastille Day to Mexico Independence Day. There are also birthday, wedding, anniversary and graduation posters. Use the search box or the category chips to find one quickly.

03Can I write my own greeting and message?

Yes. Every festival starts with a ready-made greeting, regional-language line and message. You can replace the main greeting, the regional greeting, the message and the sender name with your own words.

04Does it support regional languages like Hindi, Tamil, Chinese or Spanish?

Many festivals include a greeting in the matching regional language, such as Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Gujarati, Punjabi, Malayalam and Kannada, plus Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Hebrew, Persian, Spanish and Swahili for world festivals. You can edit that line or type your own in any language your device can display. If you see empty boxes, install or enable a font for that script on your device.

05Which sizes can I download?

Post 4:5 (1080 × 1350) for Instagram and Facebook feeds, Square 1:1 (1080 × 1080) for general posts and WhatsApp, and Story 9:16 (1080 × 1920) for Instagram Stories, Reels covers and WhatsApp Status. The file downloads as a PNG.

06Can I add my logo or photo?

Yes. Upload a JPG, PNG or WebP file up to 5 MB and it appears at the top of the poster. This is useful for shops, schools, clinics, temples, societies and personal greetings. Only upload a logo or photo you have the right to use.

07Can I change the colours?

You can change the accent colour, which controls the frame, divider, regional greeting and footer line. Each festival keeps its own background and artwork so the poster still looks like that festival. Use the reset button to return to the festival colour.

08Is my logo or photo uploaded to a server?

The poster is created in your browser. Your logo is read on your device to show the preview, and the PNG is generated from that preview when you download it.

09Do the posters include festival dates?

No. Many festivals, such as Diwali, Eid, Chinese New Year, Hanukkah and Nowruz, follow lunar or regional calendars, and dates change every year. If you want a date on the poster, add it to your message, for example “Join us for the Diwali celebration on 8 November”.

10Can I use the posters for my business?

Yes, they are made for greeting customers, followers, students and members. Add your business name under From and your logo at the top. Make sure any logo or photo you upload belongs to you or that you have permission to use it.

11Why does my downloaded poster look different from the preview?

The download is created at the full pixel size shown beside the preview, so it will be sharper than the on-screen preview. If text looks different, check that the same font is available on your device and try downloading again.
